Saran Wrap

I wanted to do a saran wrap mani and decided I'd do it a little different this time by putting a matte top coat when I was done. So I have pictures of the mani while it's shiny and pictures of it when it wasn't so shiny anymore. :) China Glaze Turned up Turquoise and Liquid Leather.

Darling Diva's Nightbird! Picture heavy

This is how the Diva describes this polish,

"These polishes were all inspired by a certain lovely singer who recently had a cameo on an awesome show about witches:) I am sure you all know what I am referring to:) SHE ROCKED!!\
This deep indigo blue holo has just enough purple in there to make it just not another navy:)"

This is another polish that fit the bill for my recent obsession with blues. I love it!  Applied (as always) like a dream! LOVE LOVE LOVE Darling Diva!! On to the pics!

The first four pictures are with and without flash, 2 coats, & no top coat.

These four pictures are after using the hole punch method that I am loving to add a butterfly, and then a coat of Seche. With and without flash.

My birthday mani!

So, yesterday I found THIS by set in laquer, and immediately changed my mind on what I previously wanted to do for my birthday mani. I literally read the post, and went straight to Michael's and bought some hole punchers. This was SO much fun! Now I need more punchers in different shapes, lol.  Anyhow, I figured what's better for a birthday mani than a birthday mani inspired by your mom? So that's what I did.

Zoya Dream & OPI 4 in the morning

Work has been crazy the last couple weeks! My boss got fired, and as the assistant it was suddenly my responsibility to keep everyone together, keep moral up, and even train the new boss in some areas. It has been hectic to say the least. But things are finally calming down. I'm still very much into blues here lately, and Zoya's Dream falls right into that recent obsession. I decided an accent nail with OPI's 4 in the morning would be a good contrast to the sparkle that Dream has. Decided to put a Dream heart on the satin black. I'm pretty happy with it. Forgive the cuticles, I've been neglecting my hands for the last couple weeks with everything that's going on. My birthday is tomorrow, hoping to have a fun birthday mani to show you all!

DIFFERENT Dimension's "LUCKY"

DIFFERENT dimension's Lucky!
As always applied like a dream! I love this polish almost as I love the brand! Two coats with a coat of SV for the pics. I took the pictures in a few different lights to try to catch all the pretty.

Sinful Colors Ciao Bella w/ Hottie

I've been very into blue polishes lately, probably due to my new car being blue lol. I have been going through most if not all of my blue polishes trying to find one that was the same color or at least close to my car. Not really finding one yet, but I have discovered polishes that I forgot I had. Ciao Bella being one of them. It's so pretty and sparkly. But I thought it needed just a little more sparkle, so I added a coat of Hottie on top. Sealed it all with some SV and here's the results.. There's quite a few pictures, I was trying to catch with my camera what I see looking at it.

and just for grins, here's the snow drift in my back yard...the chairs in the distance are stacked 4 high, and my poor little fire pit is almost completely covered cause I forgot to bring it inside :(

I have been waiting a week to post this...

I've been waiting to post this for a while. Not because it's a spectacular mani or anything like that. Recently my van died. Head gasket blew, and the block cracked. So, I got a new car! A brand new Dodge Charger SXT! It's blue and shiny and my kids have named it Kitana. I like if. The mani was inspired by the car. Not super fancy but I liked it!
